Beekeeping isa living system.
Melitelly connects what happens in the yard to what happens next—giving beekeepers one operational picture from colony care to crew planning, breeding, production, and sale.

Why we exist
The work is connected.
The software should be too.
A colony record is not an endpoint. It shapes a treatment window, a crew route, an equipment need, a rearing decision, and eventually the story attached to a product.
Melitelly replaces disconnected notes and generic tools with one biological and operational model—useful to a backyard beekeeper today and a growing team tomorrow.
Meet the developers
Process engineers who became beekeepers.
Melitelly was created by two process engineers with experience building custom applications for large corporations across warehouse, labor, transportation, and route management.

As beekeeping grew from a hobby into a demanding operation, they found critical information scattered across notebooks, spreadsheets, calendars, and disconnected apps. After searching for one platform that could support the complete workflow, they decided to build it themselves.
They designed Melitelly to remain approachable for someone managing a handful of backyard hives while providing the operational depth needed by breeders, honey producers, pollination providers, and commercial teams. The result brings field records, planning, equipment, production, sales, and public swarm response into one connected system.
Their process-engineering background shaped a focus on reliable field recordkeeping, efficient transactions, connected retail operations, and inventory control for the considerable amount of equipment beekeeping requires.
What they set out to connect
- Apiary, hive, component, and equipment records; mobile offline inspections, photos, voice notes, QR lookup, and NFC lookup on supported devices.
- Tasks, labor planning, protocols, treatments, advisories, climate timing, and phenology.
- Colony health, brood, food stores, pests, disease, queen status, swarm risk, analytics, and queen-rearing programs.
- Inventory, tools, consumables, build plans, multi-yard operations, team roles, and field logistics.
- Honey production, lots, labels, traceability, customers, orders, fulfillment, and retail inventory.
- Online storefronts with catalog, checkout, and connected payments after payment-account setup.
- Public swarm reporting, privacy-conscious visibility, responder matching, assignment, status, and rescue coordination.

Translate insight into operator-reviewed protocols, prioritized crew plans, and material requirements before committing bees, time, or stock.

Workflow overview
- Assign condition-backed inspection, treatment, and rearing protocols by account, yard, or hive.
- Build prioritized today, overdue, and assignee queues with checklists and logistics rollups.
- Match planned work to inventory and review dependencies before committing labor or materials.
04Grow with intention
Scale the craft, not the chaos.

Turn public swarm sightings into qualified rescue opportunities while protecting location privacy and building a useful picture of conservation work.

Workflow overview
- Let the public report a swarm with a validated location, photos, size, and contact history.
- Match reports to responder radius and availability, with assignment, reassignment, and status controls.
- Share privacy-preserving impact statistics and aggregate research access.
Built around field reality
Technology should respect the work.
Beekeeping happens in weather, across distance, with living systems and narrow windows. Those constraints shape the product.
Climate is context
Timing follows local bloom, weather, and colony biology—not a generic calendar.
Offline is the default, not a feature
Inspection drafts stay on the device and sync when a connection is available.
Evidence earns trust
History, lots, protocols, and provenance stay connected from intervention to finished product.
Your data stays yours
Export and portability are product features, not compliance afterthoughts.
Built to travel
Local enough for biology.Flexible enough to grow.
The same connected foundation supports a first hive, a multi-yard team, a breeding program, or a commercial operation—without pretending that spring means the same thing everywhere.
